# Agent Templates

> Read the active agent template catalog.

Agent templates are read-only through the public API. Use a template ID with
your agent creation workflow, then configure the returned agent through the
Agents endpoints.

The list endpoint supports an optional `category` filter. Inactive templates
are never returned.
